Kennet South of Reading - Woodcut

Woodcut print, 38x56cm, handmade on 250gsm Somerset Satin acid-free cotton rag (limited edition)
The work was made following the three day walk from the Stanley Spencer Gallery in Cookham, to the Sandham Memorial Chapel in Burghclere, documented in my book 'A Walk For Stanley' published by Peculiarity Press in 2019.
The walk included a stretch of the Kennet tow path, from Reading to Thatcham. These white willows were on the banks of the Kennet near Southcote Meadow, Reading.
